Our Core Values Guide Us

ATTITUDE REFLECTS LEADERSHIP

“As a member of the financial professional support team at MassMutual Pittsburgh, I believe that ATTITUDE REFLECTS LEADERSHIP is an idea that embodies all those practices that lead us to do the right thing—the thing we know needs to be done—whether we feel like taking the time to do it or not.
Whether we’re running an entire company, or just one small desk that operates within it, I believe that what we do, and how we do it, matters. And I love that MassMutual Pittsburgh believes that, too."

DO THE RIGHT THING

"The phrase “DO THE RIGHT THING” is much more than a core value to me – it’s a philosophy I live by each day. I am so honored that I am able to do the right thing for my clients and help them sleep a little better at night. I get to wake up every day and make a difference with my job knowing that I’ve helped to financially prepare my clients for all the good things that they hope for in their lives while also helping to protect them from the unexpected, bad things that can happen to any of us at any time in life. Being able to do the right thing and offer that security to clients brings an indescribable level of fulfillment."

CREATE AND VALUE COLLABORATION

“For me, CREATE AND VALUE COLLABORATION isn’t just a core value, but a requirement in our firm. With the complexity of our work, it is impossible to know everything all the time. So, it’s really important to bounce ideas off of others to help ensure you're doing the best thing for your clients. Someone may know a more impactful way to assist a client and you don't want to miss out on that."

That's why at MassMutual Pittsburgh, it is so important that we recognize others when they do well. We want to help EMPOWER, INSPIRE, and MOTIVATE others so they can perform at their best!
